As things start to pick up at work at the start of a new year, you may be facing a huge workload that’s causing you stress. Here’s a list of proactive ways to make your work day easier, and hopefully help you relieve stress and relax at work!
1. Stretch at Your Desk
If you work at a desk, it’s easy to stay cooped up in the same position all day. When you can, take a few minutes to walk around the office, and try these simple stretches you can do right at your desk to help you loosen up.
2. Keep a Planner
Keeping a planner to write quick notes and organize your appointments can de-clutter your brain and take a little stress off your back.
3. Write a Daily Schedule
At the start of your week or day, write a schedule to plan how you will spend your time at work, leaving a little extra time for buffer. A bit of structure in your day will allow you to transition into new tasks stress-free!
4. Keep your Desk Organized
If you have a cluttered desk, your mind will soon follow! If you need help, there are many cool desk organizers you can buy online to make sure everything has a place.
